Emily teaches traditional yoga practices, Yoga Tune Up® and Trauma-Informed Yoga across New York City. She teaches at studios, shelters, schools, offices, and private homes. She is the founder of Body Breath Bliss, a corporate yoga organization whose mission is to bring yoga and wellness practices to offices around NYC. Through BBB she teach smart fitness, pain and stress relief, and corrective anatomy to 9-5 populations. Emily is also the co-founder of Feet on the Ground – an organization that supports resilience in trauma-exposed populations through breath and movement practices. She teaches the principles of trauma-informed yoga to yoga instructors, aid workers, and clinicians at trainings, workshops, and weekly classes both in NYC and abroad. Her passion, though, is teaching yoga directly to children in disenfranchised school districts with Hosh Kids, and to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault living in shelters with Exhale to Inhale.
