Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training with Jenn Turner
This three-day course will cover post traumatic stress disorder and the impact of trauma on the brain and the body, current treatments and the subjective experience of the survivor. Led by Jenn Turner, the focus will be on why and how to modify yoga to make it more trauma-sensitive.

Jenn Turner is the Coordinator of Yoga Services at the Trauma Center at JRI in Brookline Massachusetts, where yoga has been used as an adjunct treatment for PTSD for over ten years with a variety of groups, from survivors of chronic childhood abuse and neglect, to teenagers, to war veterans. Examples of integrating trauma-sensitive yoga into all of these communities will be given.
This training is offered in partnership with Exhale to Inhale, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing yoga to survivors of domestic violence. A portion of all proceeds will go to Exhale to Inhale.
