Trauma-informed Teacher Training at YogaOne Studio December 9th & 10th

Join us for the Exhale to Inhale trauma-informed yoga teacher training!  Are you interested in learning more about the effect of trauma on the mind & body?  As a yoga teacher, have you had a students’ trauma triggered during one of your classes? Get the resources and tools you need to act appropriately when this happens.

The training, facilitated by Exhale to Inhale Teacher Trainer Crystal McCreary, includes 14 hours of lecture/experiential learning, a training manual, on-line community for sharing & networking, and access to videos / audio for continuing education.

Students will gain tangible trauma-informed yoga tools, learning how to modify yoga to make it more sensitive to those who have experienced trauma, and inclusive to all communities.

Crystal McCreary is committed to creating and holding safe spaces for people to heal, learn, and build resilience in a world that often takes relentless hold of our bodies, minds, and hearts. Her years as a school teacher clarified a mission to support the development of social and emotional skills as tools to empower and support vital wellbeing and academic success. Crystal's classes are influenced by mindfulness and taught through an inclusive, adaptive and trauma-informed lens, emphasizing curiosity and awareness of the experience.  Crystal facilitates kids yoga & mindfulness teacher trainings for Bent on Learning and Little Flower Yoga. She leads professional development workshops nationally, and is a curriculum consultant for research studies on yoga & mindfulness conducted by CUNY-Hunter’s public health department. Crystal is a graduate of Stanford Universiy with a BA in African and African American studies and completed The American Conservatory Theater’s Master of Fine Arts program in Acting.
