A UNIQUE KIND OF YOGA CLASS - #itstimetoheal
DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR SURVIVORS OF TRAUMA
The #metoo and #timesup movements have empowered people to speak out, they have elevated the conversation around domestic and sexual violence, and they've made it clear that these issues aren’t just women’s issues. They’re human issues, business issues, community issues, and public health issues. Now, it's #timetoheal.
Join us for a one hour long trauma informed yoga class designed specifically for survivors of domestic violence / sexual assault but open to all. Students will be invited to connect their mind and body through breath and movement. Classes include breathing exercises, yoga poses and guided relaxation.

Classes will be taught by Sammee Leigh
Sammee Leigh changed her life with fitness. Yoga and running empowered her to care for herself by inviting in balance, and moving away from things not positively serving her. To deepen her personal practice, Sammee earned her Stråla Yoga certification but upon completion she was inspired to bring this dogma-free yoga to as many people as possible. She believes yoga is for everyone; that it's about moving everything you have with natural ease. She wants to inspire, encourage, empower as many people as she can to live their best life on their terms. Sammee believes health and wellness are not one size fits all. That it's not about stepping out of your comfort zone, it's about expanding your comfort zone from the inside out, starting right where you are, and working with what you have. www.sammeeleigh.com | Instagram & Twitter: @chasing_sammee
