Consider yourself too tight, inflexible, or high strung for yoga? Bend + Bloom Basics will inspire the yogi in you. By focusing on yoga fundamentals we develop body awareness, learn basic postures, focus on proper alignment, and practice coordinating the breath and movements gracefully together. Develop a connection to your physical and energetic body while cultivating strength, balance, and relaxation. Extra attention is given to help the tight hamstringed and vertigo prone among us to yogify with confidence.

Originally from Iowa, Cassie made the big move to Brooklyn with her husband and cat in tow in August of 2012 to share her love of yoga and music with students of all ages. In her Hatha classes, Cassie strives to foster a nurturing and joyful environment in which individuals of any age or experience level can be free to explore their bodies, minds, and spirits in their practice. Through mantra, asana, pranayama, and meditation, we'll tap into that light that shines so brightly in us all; that light that is our true potential.
