Caroline Smith

Caroline Smith began her practice in 2003. After living abroad in Italy from 2006-2010 she returned to New York
and needed an outlet to provide a sense of grounding and stability. It was that need that quickly brought her
back to yoga and she has been practicing ever since. Caroline is now a 500-Hour RYT yoga instructor and
yoga integrative therapist. She teaches well-rounded and dynamic classes that blend playful and energetic asana
with breath awareness, and self study. Her classes focus on alignment and intelligent sequencing by striking a balance between the Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions. Caroline also teaches restorative yoga classes that integrate
mindful meditation, breath awareness, yoga movement, essential oils, and Reiki. Her teaching is inspired
with love, compassion, patience, and humor. Caroline loves art, reading, cycling, cooking for friends and family,
playing with her dog, and volunteering at local animal shelters and community centers.
