I am thrilled to run in the NYC Half Marathon as a member of Team Exhale to Inhale for the second year in a row! As a survivor of domestic violence, I am running as part of my own healing journey and to raise critical funds so that ETI can continue to provide long-term healing to survivors. Last year, the race through the City was an emotional journey and I'm excited to hit the streets again in March for another rewarding challenge to support a cause so near and dear to my heart.

This year I'm running for a great charity that our family has been involved with for a while called Exhale to Inhale.

Founded in honor of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, Exhale to Inhale provides a powerful, body-based resource for healing from trauma. Exhale to Inhale works to create a world in which every survivor has access to the healing practices of trauma-informed yoga.

E2I methodology is self-empowering and provides survivors with the resources necessary to reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and decrease levels of stress. Most importantly, once experienced, their methodology can be used anywhere and at any time.

Exhale to Inhale is a non profit that sponsors trauma-informed yoga for survivors of domestic violence & sexual assault. I've been involved with the org for 5+ years now (shoutout to my sister, Yvonne, who was a yoga instructor for them and introduced me to the organization) and am passionate about their mission.  By supporting Exhale to inhale, you give access to the healing power of yoga to a community of people who can really use it, and help them regain agency in their lives.

Your gift's impact:
