As part of its Continuing Education curriculum, Exhale to Inhale (ETI) is delighted to invite folks who have not taken the trauma-informed yoga certification training to attend this session.
Many different body types and experience levels can appear in the yoga space. This session will give teachers an understanding of how to hold space that is supportive and inclusive to different body types and experience levels, rooted in the ETI principles of safety, simplicity, and choice making. Featuring Dianne Bondy and ETI's Trainer, Jenna Conner will lead us in exploration and discussion on how to be supportive and inclusive. Learn more about her work here.
After the session, participants will be able to:
Guide students into yoga shapes that offer different options and use language that is more inclusive of different body types and experience levels
Maintain an environment of safety that is inclusive to various experience levels and body types.
